Pre-SchoolPreschool (ages 3 to 5 years): An independent class in which children will follow the “Active Start” programming and use all our gymnastics equipment! BeginnerBeginner Gymnastics (ages 6 years +): This is our introductory gymnastics class for beginner gymnasts of any school-age. In this program gymnasts will begin the AGA Progress Report Program that will take them through all the basic gymnastics needed for a great foundation in the sport! AGA’s Progress reports level 1 through 3 is the focus of this class. This is a 1 hour class, once per week.

IntermediateIntermediate 1 Gymnastics (ages 6 years +): This class is for those athletes that are ready for our Intermediate Program. At this level we do our best to separate boys and girls into separate classes to ensure they will be using the appropriate equipment for their AGA levels. This class focuses on AGA levels 4 and 5 and is a 1.5 hour class, once per week.
Intermediate 2 Gymnastics (ages 6 years +): Once gymnasts have completed the first 5 badges in the AGA Progress Reports, they will be recommended by their coach to move into our Intermediate 2 program. At this level we continue to do our best to separate boys and girls into separate classes to ensure they will be using the appropriate equipment for their levels. This class focuses on levels 6 through 10 and is a 1.5 hour class, once per week. Intermediate Trampoline & Tumbling (ages 8 years +): Once athletes have completed the first 3 levels in the CanJump Program (or comparable artistic gymnastics), they will be recommended by their coach to move into our Intermediate program. This class will focus on levels 4 through 8 and is a 1.5 hour class, once per week. |
CompetitiveKinder Gymnastics (ages 4 to 6 years): This program is by recommendation of the coach only and after gymnasts, aged 4 to 6 years old have participated in our Preschool Program. This class is designed to challenge our preschool aged gymnasts who have been in the program for more than a year and coaches believe they would need more challenging gymnastics. This is a 50 minute class, once per week.
Academy (ages 6 years +): This class is very conditioning and strength training structured. Gymnasts will be pushed in strength, flexibility, speed, endurance and begin advanced skill training. In order to ensure success at a higher level we spend a lot of time on strength training and shaping drills. This program is by recommendation of the coach only and after gymnasts, aged 6 years old or older have completed the 5 levels in the AGA Progress Report, and are showing dedication, focus, determination, and have attention to detail. This class is designed to progress into our Pre-Competitive program. This is a 1.5 hour class, once per week.
Pre-Competitive Women’s Gymnastics (ages 6 years +): This class is very conditioning and strength training structured. Gymnasts will be pushed in strength, flexibility, speed, endurance and begin advanced skill training. In order to ensure success at a higher level we spend a lot of time on strength training and shaping drills. This program is by recommendation of the coach only and after gymnasts, aged 6 years old or older have completed the 5 levels in the AGA Progress Report, and are showing dedication, focus, determination, and have attention to detail. This class is designed to progress into our Competitive program. This is a 1.5 hour class, twice per week.
**Gymnasts are ONLY invited into this class if they are interested in competitions. Competitive Gymnastics: Gymnasts in this program are fully committed athletes who have shown an interest in competing and have acquired the necessary skills to enter competitions. This class is very conditioning and strength training structured. Gymnasts will be pushed in strength, flexibility, speed, endurance and begin advanced skill training. In order to ensure success at a higher level we spend a lot of time on strength training and shaping drills. This program is by recommendation of the coach only and after gymnasts, aged 8 years old or older and are showing dedication, focus, determination, and have attention to detail.

Competitive TrampolineCompetitive Trampoline (ages 8 years +): After athletes have completed the first 8 levels in the CanJump Program, and provided they show interest and determination in their class, or have experience in the Advanced Program, they can be recommended by their coach to move into our competitive program. Athletes in this program will have the opportunity to attend all competitions during the competitive season with the chance to qualify for Provincial Championships and Eastern Canadian Championships. This class will focus on levels 9 and higher and is a 1.5 hour class, twice per week.

Specialty Classes
Tumbling
Advanced Tumbling: Classes are recreational in nature for intermediate/advanced level girls and boys. Focus will be on developing back handsprings, back tucks, back layouts, and back twisting; front handsprings, front tucks, front pikes, and front twisting. Including variations and combinations of all these skills. **Pre-requisites** for this class include a controlled handstand roll, a hurdle roundoff rebound, back limber, bridge kick over with straight legs, and a backwards roll to stand on the flat floor. This is a 1 hour class, once per week. |
Beginner Age 10-15
This is our introductory gymnastics class for beginner gymnasts ages 10-15. In this program gymnasts will begin the AGA Progress Report Program that will take them through all the basic gymnastics needed for a great foundation in the sport! This class focuses on levels 1 through 4 and is a 1 hour class, once per week.

Teen/Adult Gymnastics (ages 15+)
A semi-structured class for our adult membership. Coaches will work with you to determine your goal in the sport of gymnastics and help you to work towards and achieve that goal. This program will include strength training, conditioning, flexibility, drills, and skill progressions. Members may use any of the equipment needed for the program. NOTE: This is not an “open gym” program.
